Loooove their sweet tea!! Jumbo shrimp are delicious. Also their liver and onions is excellent. In fact, I haven’t had a bad meal anytime we’ve eaten there. So glad they brought back the salad bar.
Me and the family had to take a day trip to Port Charlotte. From are home we took the back roads to and from. Doing this we passed through only a couple small towns with limited sit down restaurants. We came across this place and decided to give it a try. We are so happy to have stopped. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. Our server was on top of everything we asked for. She went above and beyond to provide great service. The dishes were unexpectedly some of the best food. The blackened cod we had was better than some steaks we have had from other restaurants. The chicken tenders were fresh not frozen. ( This is a big deal for my autistic son.) If we are ever back this way we will be returning!!!!
Great find. It doesn't look like much from the outside but you have to try it. The food is excellent. We went there and from the homemade blue cheese dressing to the fried chicken it was great. Good portion size and is reasonably priced. They even have a dessert display and the cheesecake was great. Get the fried chicken and onion rings, the coating was crisp and full of flavor. We will return.
I dined here while visiting family in Florida. This is one of their favorite places to eat near their home, and it did not disappoint me either. The garlic parmesan wings were fat and juicy, but still crunchy on the outside. They were so meaty I couldn't even finish them all. It may not be the prettiest dining room in the world, but the service was fast and everyone enjoyed their food.
This was my first time to eat here and I’ve been Highlands County 30 years. Now I’m regretting every bit of it. The Salad I ordered was a big portion and so FRESH AND DELICIOUS! My husband loved his burger. And my grandson and I ate the heck out of some pickle chips. They were so good! Our waiter was friendly and gave great customer service to us! Definitely will be back over and over again! Sorry for waiting this long to give you my business and support!
This is a tried and true restaurant! You will not be disappointed. I’ve eaten here multiple times for both lunch and supper. Everything I’ve ordered has been very good. My favorite dessert is the coconut cake however the berry cake and caramel cheesecake is also fantastic. My friends tried their sangria and said they were awesome.
Service was amazing and quick. Salad bar good. Need bit more variety at salad bar. Had ribs and sweet potato. Crystal was absolutely outstanding....
We had passed this restaurant on our way to our hotel. Decided to have dinner there due to a lot of cars in the parking lot. Usually a good sign the food is good. We were seated right away. Ordered the grilled cod with sweet potato and fried okra. My husband ordered the sirloin with onion straws and black eyed peas. Our food was served hot and was delicious! The sirloin was a bit chewy, but had a good flavor. Service was very good. Definitely a place to come back to.
